There are some great organizations in Massachusetts that are doing wonderful work with kids who come into contact with the juvenile justice system. But there is only one organization that focuses exclusively on reforming the laws, policies and practices that shape that system: Citizens for Juvenile Justice.
CfJJ’s policy advocacy aims to improve life outcomes for kids – and their communities – through systemic reform. We want to ensure that children and adolescents who make mistakes are treated by a system that recognizes their ongoing development and focuses effectively on their rehabilitation. By contributing to CfJJ, you will be supporting work that will have an impact on thousands of kids across Massachusetts, helping to ensure that they can grow into productive adults.
CfJJ was recently selected to participate in the Boston Social Innovation Forum's 2017 Class of Social Innovators. To read more about the kind of work that your investment in CfJJ can support, please read our Prospectus.
