CfJJ Social Media Ambassador
Are you interested in applying to be a CfJJ Social Media Ambassador? If so, there are a few expectations and guidelines you should know of before applying.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
Someone who is active on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram
Someone with a strong social media presence and a solid following (posts multiple times a week, has more than 200 followers, etc.)
Someone who already or is willing to start advocating for social, racial, juvenile and criminal justice on their social media platforms
Someone who can bring a new perspective and audience to CfJJ social media platforms!
What we are NOT looking for in a candidate:
Someone who has racist/sexist/homophobic/offensive content on any of their platforms
Someone who uses extreme amounts of vulgarity on their platforms
Someone who is inactive on their accounts with little to no following
Expectations for ambassadors:
Resharing CfJJ Tweets, Facebook posts, and Instagram posts to your feeds/stories a minimum of one post per week. Please ensure to tag CfJJ in each post you reshare.
Amplifying CfJJ and our work positively on your platforms is huge! We are not asking you for any original content, just to amplify our posts. If you are interested in creating original content on behalf of the ambassador program you must contact the head of the program (Grace Voll).
Attending a monthly Zoom meeting with other ambassadors and CfJJ staff to discuss upcoming projects/events and share new ideas. This will also include joining a private group (platform TBD) and Google Drive where posts/upcoming events and information will be shared.
You must be willing to change your platform privacy settings to public OR allow CfJJ to follow you on your social media platforms in order to ensure you are following guidelines and expectations.

You will get an insider preview to upcoming CfJJ reports and initiatives.
Free attendance to CfJJ events such as forums and our Leadership Celebration.
You will be an individual CfJJ Member!
Please note:
This is not a paid position. There is no required amount of hours that we expect in this position beyond sharing one post a week on each platform (four a month total) and attending a monthly meeting.
There is no end to this position, however, we do expect ambassadors to commit to being an ambassador for at least six months.
